Requesting Deletion of Your Data
This page is for anyone who wants data we hold about them deleted from our systems. If you have left a public comment or reply on one of our Facebook Pages or Instagram accounts, you can ask us to remove our record of it.
How to request deletion
Email us at privacy@sgwcapital.co.nz with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include:
- The platform you used (Facebook or Instagram)
- The username you used at the time
- Approximately when the interaction occurred
What happens next
We will confirm receipt of your request within 5 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We will then confirm by email that the data has been removed.
What gets deleted
We will delete any stored copy of your comments, usernames and profile identifiers held in our systems.
Important clarification
Deleting data from our systems does not remove the original comment from Facebook or Instagram. Those posts remain under your own control and can be deleted directly in the Facebook or Instagram app.
